About Academic Accelerator - Bachelor of Science - Management
The Academic Accelerator Program (AAP) is a balanced first-year program for international students with strong English-language skills. It provides additional support to immersive classes taught in English.
As a student in the Academic Accelerator, individuals will receive:
- Appropriate support for academic and English-speaking needs
- A full year’s worth of college credits
- Access to courses designed exclusively for international students
- Assistance with English-language vocabulary necessary for classes
- A mix of classes with both international and U.S. students
Management is the process of efficiently and effectively completing activities with and through others. Key aspects of an organization’s management include planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, and budgeting. Studying management allows individuals to explore various aspects of organizational behavior, human resources, and industrial and labor relations.
Upon graduation, students will be able to:
- Evaluate a firm’s competitive environment
- Assess a firm’s resources and capabilities
- Identify important managerial issues
- Address implementation challenges
- Effectively communicate managerial issues and arguments
- Potential career paths for graduates include:
- Asset manager
- Business developer
