About Bachelor of Arts - Communication - Advertising
The Advertising concentration within the Communication major is geared toward Marist College students focused on careers in advertising, whether their interest lies in creative, media, strategy, or account management. This concentration provides hands-on exposure to the industry, giving students a competitive edge when they enter the field after graduation.
Learning Outcomes:
- Create strategic, original and effective multi-channel advertising campaigns that solve brand problems and capitalize on brand opportunities.
- Generate imaginative solutions and new and different ways of looking at problems and opportunities.
- Construct and present, either verbally or in writing, persuasive arguments to convince others to accept ideas and take the desired action.
