Master of Arts - Curation

The MA Curating degree course is a program that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, offering students the opportunity to explore the world of contemporary curating. The course, taught at UCA Canterbury, is situated within a culture and environment that promotes curatorial opportunities.

This course aims to provide students with comprehensive professional experiences and real-world opportunities. These skills will be applied in various aspects of exhibition planning, presentation, installation, documentation, archiving, interpretation, and project management. Students will have the chance to engage directly with a diverse art community, including blue chip galleries, art fairs, festivals, and regional arts organizations. Mentors, who are active and influential practitioners in their respective fields, will support and guide students throughout their journey.
