Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Mathematics

Scientific developments are possible due to mathematical applications while mathematical models inform decisions. University of Dundee's course combines both pure and application-driven mathematics. By the time students finish their degree, they will be able to use maths to solve practical problems. Computers are used extensively in modern maths and Dundee will introduce them to various mathematical software preparing them for industry.

This course will allow them to deepen their knowledge of mathematical techniques supporting industry, science, engineering, commerce, finance, and education. Students will also develop their analytical skills to an advanced level..

Students will also be able to join DUMaS (Dundee University Maths Society), an active society open to all students studying mathematics or mathematical biology.
