Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Mathematics and Psychology

Students will study both pure and application-driven mathematics. By the time they finish their degree, they will be able to use maths to solve practical problems. Computers are used extensively in modern maths and Dundee will introduce them to various mathematical software preparing them for industry.

University of Dundee's course will allow students to deepen their knowledge of mathematical techniques supporting industry, science, engineering, commerce, finance, and education. Students will also develop their analytical skills to an advanced level.

Math skills will come in useful for analyzing the statistical data that we use in the Psychology modules.

Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour. Topics Dundee covers include how babies learn, the way in which people's mental skills change as they grow older, personalities types, and social group dynamics. Students will also study different psychological disorders.

They will also learn how to think critically and to solve problems. Dundee will teach students to analyze data, write clearly and effectively, and be a confident communicator of science. Students will learn how to plan, implement, and analyze their own research project.
