Integrated Masters - Master of Arts (Honours) - Business Economics - Marketing and Politics

Business Economics focuses on economic concepts, theories, and principles. Learn how these are applied to various business activities inside businesses or organizations and across the wider business world.

Students will develop a strong understanding of the role of marketing in today’s multi-channel environment and how marketing fits into a wider organizational context.

In order to become an effective marketer, and be able to allocate resources and tap into growth opportunities, students need to understand all economic factors relating to target markets, particularly around emerging markets.

Politics confronts the big issues that affect societies the world over. Students will get an overview of the British political system as well as examining some of the most complex problems faced by humanity and the ideas that underpin them.

Dundee's current teaching includes optional modules on Russian, Irish, and Middle Eastern politics, nations and nationalism, political theories, and on human rights and humanitarian intervention. Topics such as illegal drugs, gender and sexuality, environmental sustainability, and surveillance are also covered.
