This course allows students to build their own personalized LLM by choosing from Dundee's wide range of specialist modules, meaning they can study areas that interest them. University of Dundee offers a wide variety of law modules in different specialist areas. There are options in:

As well as specialisms delivered by Dundee's staff, there are options in oil and gas or energy law (from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy). Students can also choose from business, and politics and international relations.

Students often combine topics from different areas. For example, they might want to combine an understanding of corporate and commercial law with environmental law, or to combine an understanding of security with international criminal justice.

This wide choice allows students to develop existing areas of specialism or to expand their knowledge into new areas of law that they have not studied or practiced in before.
