Bachelor of Arts - Education - Adolescent/Young Adult Integrated Social Studies

Classwork is comprised of education core courses and social study courses. The education core focuses on teaching methodologies and practices for teaching social studies. The social studies courses cover a variety of topics including: anthropology, economics, finance, geography, American history, global history, political science, state and local politics, sociology, and psychology. Findlay students benefit from field experiences outside campus beginning in their first year. Over four years of courses, students engage in over 1000 hours of fieldwork with exposure to a  variety of districts and classrooms.
