Bachelor of Science - Education - Adolescent/Young Adult Integrated Science

Teach Science to students in 7th grade, 8th grade and high school. Inspire curiosity in students with a degree in AYA Integrated Science from the University of Findlay! Science experiments explore the how, what and why of the universe. Guide young adults as they learn about the universe and develop their critical thinking skills. Classwork is comprised of education core courses and science courses. The education core focuses on teaching methodologies and practices for teaching science. The science coursework includes classes in: biology, anatomy, chemistry, geology, physics, oceanus, and astronomy. Findlay students benefit from field experiences outside campus beginning in their first year. Over four years of courses, students engage in over 1000 hours of fieldwork with exposure to a  variety of districts and classrooms.
