Bachelor of Science - Business Administration - Economics Emphasis

​​​Economists monitor the global, national, and regional economy using data to identify inflection points and changes in trends. Economists conduct research, collect and analyze data, monitor economic trends, and develop forecasts. They also research a wide variety of issues including energy costs, inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, business cycles, taxes, and employment levels, among others. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Economics Emphasis​ and are prepared to pursue a variety of careers in business and government.

By specializing in economics, student learn how to problem-solve and assess situations that allows them to successfully operate in a world that is increasingly global. Internships are encouraged throughout the program in order to gain practical experience and professional networking. Each student is assigned a faculty adviser to help plan his or her curriculum, provide academic counseling and assist in career preparation.​ 

Findlay's economics students are prepared to pursue careers as a(n): global economics analyst, world trade analyst, economist, market analyst, policy analyst, and labor economist.
