The International Foundation Programme – Human and Social Sciences enables students to understand a range of areas. They will develop their communication skills whilst taking specific modules relating to their further degree study.
The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is a level 3 foundation year that is an equivalent qualification to A levels. During students programme they will develop subject-specific knowledge with a strong focus on improving their academic English language skills in preparation for studying at university.
Examine some of today’s profound pressing issues – poverty and development, environmental protection, and financial and monetary crises. In an era of Big Data, new technologies, and artificial intelligence, students can discover the solutions to shape their world.
By analysing real-world events and studying the principles of economics, students will gain the skills and tools to make a difference in the world around them, and open doors to a variety of employment opportunities. Recent graduates have gone on to work for Deloitte, HMRC, Goldman Sachs, Barclays and more.
