3-Term Pathway - International Foundation Programme in Human and Social Sciences - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Human Geography

The International Foundation Programme – Human and Social Sciences enables students to understand a range of areas. They will develop their communication skills whilst taking specific modules relating to their further degree study.

The International Year Zero (IYZ) is the first year of a 4-year International Incorporated Bachelors (IIB). The first year is taught at University of Kent International College (UK IC). Once students successfully complete this year, they will continue studying the remaining stages of their degree at University of Kent.

Examine why the world is changing so quickly and how these changes affect the environment, cultures and economies at local, national and global levels. This Bachelor of Science (Honours) Human Geography course equips students with the skills required for a career in business, government agencies, NGOs, education, and development.

Develop the skills and knowledge employers are looking for: analytical writing, presentations, team work, and leadership. Strengthen students' competence as a geographer through field work and analytical tools such as geographic information systems and remote sensing imagery. Tailor their degree to pursue their specialists interest by adding “wild” modules from other schools.
